Northside Veterinary Clinic

Northside Veterinary Clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Daniel Leiman
and Dr. Barbara Eisner, two veterinarians who, combined, have 51 years
of clinical experience. Northside opened in 1997 as an adjunct to
Dr. Leiman's housecall practice, and has grown into a modern 4 doctor
facility. We have USDA accredited veterinarians for all your
international travel needs.
Located at 233 Berry St., Northside Veterinary Clinic is in the heart of
Williamsburg Brooklyn, a young, artsy, growing community of people
who want the best care for their pets at a reasonable cost.

Our Philosophy

We believe in a holistic approach to veterinary medicine using both western and complementary medicines. In this regard, we approach
each animal with the following mindset: We not only want to fix the
problem the pet has at the moment, but we also want to prevent
future problems by instructing the pet caretaker about dietary,
environmental and physical things that will make the lives of our patients healthier. Our practice of using complementary medicine
means that we utilize both western and eastern medicines according
to a patient's specific needs. Whenever possible, we use diet and
supplements to treat conditions, but will also prescribe standard
medicines if this is the most appropriate treatment.
We have 2 certified veterinary acupuncturists on staff with
training in herbal medicine.
