It is a common belief that cats and dogs
are color blind.

Research shows
that cats can see blue and green, and possibly red.
Dogs can see color
but it is not as vivid
a color scheme as
we see.

UNLEASH BROOKLYN http://www.unleashbrooklyn.com/
Unleash Brooklyn, a 7,000-square-foot loft in Brooklyn, is a cage-free
and eco-friendly daycare/boarding facility that also operates as an
animal rescue organization, Dog Habitat Rescue.
The facility features a holistic pet boutique called District Dog,
which sells natural and organic food, supplies, and treats for dogs
and cats. Dog Habitat Rescue is the first "green" rescue organization
to become an Alliance Participating Organization (APO) of the
Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals Dog Habitat Rescue provides
supervised socialization of its rescue animals with the daycare and
boarding dogs. A nutritionist visits once a month to help assess and,
if needed, modify each dog's diet including supplements, based on
her assessment.
Dog Habitat Rescue is extremely fortunate to be sponsored
by Stella& Chewy's, provider of raw food for pets, and Zuke's,
which makes natural treats. All of the rescue dogs eat raw food
donated by S&C and get Zuke's treats when out on walks with
volunteers or in training sessions.
