Some Heart Warming Stories...
A Dog Tale That Ends Well
The Sages of Israel wrote the following more than 2500 years Ago-
"He Who Saves Even One Life Is As Though He/She Has Saved The
Entire World"...Perkai Avos-
That is just what Northside Veterinarian Clinic in Brooklyn
NY has done
for our 12 1/2 year
old pet Sheltie. They saved his
life when others
told
us to be
humane and euthanize him.
I am writing again to those who
have a beloved pet and urge you
not
to give up hope when the Pet
Parent is told-"Its time to let
them go!"
Our last hope were Drs Barbara
Eisner and her husband
Daniel
H. Leiman.
Our dog Pokey is doing quite well
on Chinese Herbs and Acupuncture
Treatments. He had stopped
eating, drinking and eliminating-
his
life was ebbing away.
We began to see the results after the first
week. A kinder and more
caring Vets I have never seen. He is again
begging for food, is playful
and is his old self.
Yesterday he ran to the front
door to greet me.
This husband and wife team analyze the problem and devise the
best treatment-They talk to each other and hold consultations. It
was like watching Sherlock Holmes uncover the mystery-but this one
is of life-saving your pet.
Their staff is wonderful and are like family. Our dog is eating, drinking
and playful. The Acupuncture is working on his Kidney failure and
his joint
problems as well.
A wonderful caveat to this is that they give you hope when you feel
lost
and hopeless. I for one was very impressed because they are
always
attending workshops to find the latest findings.
Never give up hope. Any treatment that is possible will be
done there.
Who says there are no happy endings in life? One must try to
save a family member. Non Pet people do not understand these
sentiments.
P.S. their fees are very fair and do not drain you.
Thank you so much Drs-your hard work has allowed our dog to
live a more happier and more productive life and to be with us
for a longer period of time.
Sincerely
Guy Rossman
At the suggestion of Dr Eisner,
I started my Bulldog Rupert on the Chinese herbal product known
as Four Marvels.
He has been on the product
approx 2 months and
I am
certain that his decrease in skin
inflammation is as a result
of the product.
Prior to this Rupert suffered redness and itching
in his wrinkles and between his toes.
I would say there is at
least a
75 percent improvement in his condition.
If you have a Bulldog I highly recommend you try Four Marvels.

Charley's Story

On Nov 15, 2011, my 13 year old Korean Jindo dog had ruptured his cruciate ligament in his right knee. He hurt his knee when he was jumping in the backyard when he saw a cat. Charley could barely walk
on three legs and couldn't put any weight on his hurt leg. He was definitely in pain and struggling. After bringing him to Northside Veterinary Clinic, I had scheduled surgery for the following week
with a specialist in Manhattan.
Dr Eisner had recommended trying alternative treatments with herbal
and nutritional supplements, ultrasound and infrared laser therapy and knee injections. She said she had very good results with other dogs
who had ligament injuries. But Charley's injury was the most severe
of all her other dogs. I decided to give it a try and postponed Charley's surgery. I was thrilled to see Charley's remarkable progress as each day passed. He was able to put more and more weight on his leg and he
got better each day. He continues to take Standard Process nutritional supplements and an herbal supplement for his knees. He will continue
to get laser therapy every other week. I am very happy that I tried these alternative treatments and that Charley didn't need surgery. Surgery could have been risky for Charley because of his age and his lung disease. Dr Eisner and Dr Leiman are wonderful veterinarians. I am very lucky to have found veterinarians who practice traditional and alternative treatments! They have been my pets' veterinarians since 2001. The whole staff at Northside has been wonderful throughout the years!
